About Wisconsin Greenhouse Company

We began this greenhouse journey nearly 20 years ago as a national installation company. Jordan Hosking (Owner/Son), Ray Hosking (Father) and other family/friends/employees installed projects from coast to coast for some of the nation’s largest greenhouse manufacturers. We installed high profile projects including, rooftops in Manhattan (NYC), Oceanic Research facilities in the Atlantic (Nahant,MA), major Universities across the country, high-end home additions, large agricultural projects, and countless more. In the process of contracting 200 plus projects over the first decade we became a sought-after leader in the greenhouse and solarium industry installation world.

As things progressed, Jordan, decided to bring the company back home to Wisconsin (In order to share a more typical family lifestyle with 2 daughters). Initially, we rented out a small space on Williamson Street, Madison, to use as a showroom. This beautiful location was the start of The Madison Greenhouse Store. Today it still has a few samples of the greenhouse products you can buy, but it is much more of a neighborhood garden center than it is a greenhouse showroom and office location. Because of the demand for gardening supplies in the Marquette neighborhood, we decided to open Wisconsin Greenhouse Company (Greenhouse sales, consulting, and installation services) in a separate location (at 211 S. Paterson, about 6 blocks away), we have moved again recently to 2190 Pennsylvania avenue, Madison WI to our new shop space. This is why we have 2 entities with such a similar logo and brand name. One location services the garden supply customer (MGS), the other focuses more on the greenhouse structures and installation process(WGC). Obviously, we overlap a bit which is part of our intention with the 2 companies. So, when you call either location we will steer you in the direct that best suits your needs.

As of today, Wisconsin Greenhouse Company, services greenhouse sales, installation, and service repairs across the Midwest to help with a variety of different greenhouse projects. We work on many home additions including free-standing & lean-to greenhouses including both luxury and hobby gardeners. We also do University and school greenhouse projects, including FFA and gardening clubs. We do projects for Farmers and General Contractors, as well as repairs for older greenhouses (both glass and plastic/polycarbonant covering).

We work with many of the best greenhouse manufacturers in the country to lineup a product that suits both the project design and budget. As a midwest distributor we offer the best pricing on both materials and installation. There is no project too large or too small for the Wisconsin Greenhouse Company, and we take pride in being available to customers when they need us. We also work with Statewide manufacturers of equipment, covering, and other products to supply our projects with midwestern greenhouse materials (as much as possible).
